In Idaho we stopped in the charming town of Bonner's Ferry with a nice brew pub, bookstore, and thrift store. When the proprietor of the thrift store learned we were from Washington he got pretty wound up and wanted to make it crystal clear that not all Idahoans are Trump voters. Interesting.
Winthrop, Washington:
Outside of Winthrop we got lost and asked for help from a ranch manager/sculpture artist. We think his name is Reese Cort, but we can't find anything about him on the internet. Here are some of his fantastic creations:
