The Cardinal and the Zephyr to San Francisco

For Spring Break we took a 4 day, 3 night train trip out to San Francisco. The Cardinal goes overnight from Washington to Chicago. The Zephyr is two nights ago goes over the Rocky Mountains, through the Great Basin of Utah and Nevada, and over the Sierra Nevada. It is a lovely way to see the country, relax, and meet people. Sophie made many friends.
