Spring Break

With moving into a new house and finishing up a school year, I have been letting a lot of things slide including this blog. Here are some pictures from around Easter when we drove to southernmost Virginia to stay in a log cabin for spring break.

On the way back we stopped at the birthplace of Booker T. Washington, where Celeste tried to introduce herself to all the farm animals. None of them reciprocated the gesture. We also visited Appomattox Courthouse where we looked upon the reconstructed scene of Lee's surrender to Grant, while Celeste was tied up outside.
